Questions
When possible, please bring up any questions or concerns at the beginning of your appointment. Questions raised at the end of the visit may need to be addressed at a future appointment.
Children's Appointments
We ask that at least one parent or adult caregiver attend the beginning of every appointment to help provide relevant history and updates.
If the accompanying adult is not the child's parent or legal guardian, please ensure we have written permission on file authorizing them to bring the child to the appointment.
If a parent will not be attending, please email any updates regarding the child's symptoms, progress, or concerns before the visit.
For younger children:
It is often helpful for a parent or caregiver to remain in the room and help the child feel comfortable by reading, playing, or providing quiet activities.
For older children:
After the history has been reviewed with the doctor, it is often helpful for the parent or caregiver to wait in the lobby for the remainder of the appointment.
